Mt. Pleasant - Wando High School's
Accolades
The class of 2004's survey showed
91% of seniors were planning to go on and further their
education at post-secondary institutions.
The
performing arts center was chosen as one of America’s top fifty Grammy
Signature schools.
Wando’s student newspaper is ranked 7th in the
nation by the National Scholastic Press Association.
The Wando High School offers more than 70 clubs and
organizations for its student body to enjoy outside of the classroom instruction.
All the above was accomplished in the “Old” Wando High
which was cramped and “antiquated”.
As they say now, “the sky is the limit” with this new
“state of the art” facility.
Mt. Pleasants continued commitment to its children is evident
with the
New Wando High School.
